NCAMS is dedicated to building infrastructure that strengthens the fabric of remote communities, working in partnership with Yarnangu to deliver vital upgrades and developments. Together, we鈥檙e enhancing the quality of life for residents, ensuring they remain strong and connected to country.
The mission of Ngaannyatjarra Construction and Maintenance Services (NCAMS) goes beyond project delivery鈥攊t shapes our communities. We鈥檙e enhancing our remote communities through culturally aware construction projects.
Our approach is founded on the expertise of our specialist divisions in their respective fields. It empowers us to create customised solutions, emphasising detail-oriented project management while allowing each division to concentrate on its strengths.
While many continue to operate under traditional maintenance models, NCAMS has worked collaboratively with the WA Department of Communities to secure a $32 million Head Maintenance Contract.
Recognised as the third-largest contract awarded to an Aboriginal organisation since the launch of the 2018 Aboriginal Procurement Policy, the Head Maintenance Contract reflects our dedication to sustainable public housing in remote Aboriginal communities on the NG Lands.
Through our local presence and understanding of cultural nuances, we have developed a planned and emergency maintenance model. This model also incorporates a custom-designed financial approach. This innovative approach emphasises expenditure on actual maintenance works rather than being loaded with heavy travel expenses. The result is efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
